Obesity can cause a lot of health issues. One study shows an extra health concern called rheumatoid arthritis. The study concluded that an increased body fat and even waist circumference increases the risk of rheumatoid arthritis risk in women. More specifically, out of 55,037 participants, a significant amount of people developed this new health concern. It was found more commonly in women. It shows that at least half of people that struggle with their body fat percentage, waist circumference, and BMI have a 50-50 chance of getting rheumatoid arthritis risk.
