Happy Earth Day everyone! What better day to think about the status of our planet and environment than today? 

What is Earth Day?

An annual event celebrated on April 22 all around the world in support of environmental protection. It was celebrated for the first time in 1970 and it has come to be a recognized and global event with more than 190 countries participating in it. Many countries also observe Earth Week or even Earth Month, where they organize activities, rallies and events to raise awareness.

Do we Need an Earth Day?

Yes we do! In fact, we should strive to make efforts towards environmental sustainability and protection everyday. Earth Day is considered the largest civic event in the world, celebrated around the globe by people of various backgrounds and nationalities.
